We met at the Golden Corral on Skibo Rd in Fayetteville, NC on a beautifully sunny day. Between cancellations and other people who were not able to come we ended up with a group of only three. We had a wonderfully informal gathering. We discussed the use of KudoZ etiquette and how to get practical information from KudoZ, installing keyboards for diacriticals and how to reach out to local and regional translators. We commiserated about some difficult client behaviors, such as never getting back after receiving a quote. We went through the agenda easily and enjoyed the good food and great service. No future powwow was planned, although Fayetteville and Durham were offered as possible venues. Since there were others who had expressed interest in attending we prefer having more input about place and time for the next one. Gilberto gave the rest of us a great CD with relevant documents and links to dictionaries and other resources. Professionally presented and great content. KudoZ! We are grateful for his initiative, for pulling it through and for getting these resources together.
