ProZ.com powwow: Translator's meeting for networking etc.

Hello,

It's time again for a new Powwow in Singapore!

I still have to organize a table at a suitable location, it may be Newton Circus again. If you have any proposals for a nice place in a central area (preferably reachable by MRT) please send me a personal message. The table I intend to reserve should be large enough/extendable to seat 10-20 people since there may be some last-minute sign-ups for this event.

As before, the purpose for this powwow is to meet and chat with fellow translators and interpreters for networking, exchanging tips and experiences, etc.

I look forward to seeing old faces again as well as new people.

UPDATE: I will reserve a table at Newton Circus in the vicinity of booth #26. You will recognize our table easily - it will be one of the large ones beneath the roof and I will also put a sign on the table saying "Translator's Powwow".

I would like to attend but the day is my family member's birth day. Nov 30, 2012

If you change the day for any reason, please keep me in the loop.
In the year end many are taking leave for holiday, maybe a day in January is better.

I'm sorry to hear that I picked a date you cannot make. I may be organizing another Powwow in January though (3rd week) - I will keep you posted.
