Arabic word for 'ETC'

Which is the most commonly used word/phrase in arabic for the english word "etcetra"?.

For example
My friends are from Morocco, Algeria etc etc.

Asdiqa'ee min al-Maghrib, al-Jazairi ------

I would probably say:

Asdiq'ee mina al-Maghrib, al-Jazairi aw methalan.

But what is the most correct/popular one?

That would be "إلخ" Feb 12, 2005

In Arabic, we would use "إلخ" for the English word etc. It is made up of two words "إلى آخره".

P.S. You would get a much quicker response if you post questions about words in Kudoz instead of the forums.

Questions about words, terms, expressions, and specific grammatical points that go beyond simple term look-up should be posted on KudoZ

General discussions about the many aspects of the translation profession should be posted here.

Questions that can be satisfied by a simple dictionary look up are best addressed in that way. They are suitable neither for KudoZ nor for the Forum.
