'Add to calendar' feature doesn't work Sep 7, 2012

All the time I try to use this feature I got an error notice:

'Cannot import vCalendar file.

This error can appear if you have attempted to save a recurring Lunar appointment in iCalendar format.

To avoid this error, set the appointment option to Gregorian instead of Lunar.'

I don't know how to set this appointment option. Any tips?

BTW I have never experienced anything like that before. Has anything changed recently at Proz

It shouldn't be a 'recurring appointment', should it? Sep 7, 2012

It's just come into my mind that it shouldn't be a 'recurring appointment'. Perhaps that is the reason of the error?

Thanks for letting us know Sep 7, 2012

Hi Nakita - thanks for letting us know. I was not able to replicate this problem or bug. I was able to set multiple calendar links by downloading the ics files which opened in Outlook calendar. I was able to add to calendar via Chrome and FireFox and from the main session overview page and also from the individual session pages.

Can you let me know what browser, operating system, calendar you're using so we can try to replicate this bug?

Thanks

Drew

Quite possible the bug is on my old system Sep 7, 2012

Firefox 15.0.1
Windows XP
Outlook 2003

I have just tried to do the same on my new PC:

IE 8
Windows 7
Outlook 2007

It seems the feature works there therefore it's quite possible the bug is on my old system.

Thanks Sep 7, 2012

It does sound like it is perhaps an issue on the old system. If you use google aps synch often the issue can be resolved by updating or reinstalling google aps synch.

Thanks

Drew
