I received this message from a @gmail e mail

We are looking for people who know Italian language to proof our contents in website + files, and will pay you 100 USD.
In order to work with us we will have the test for you, please send it back to me after you finish.
regards,

I check the e mail address and it appears in many offers from Thailand.

I think it could be a scam.

but I didn't open it.
By the object, I suppose they are looking for translation/proofreading/editing, but, as you wrote, there aren't details in the e mail.
