An obvious scam, with Subject: Welcoming speech 스레드 게시자: Oliver Walter

I received this one today (not via ProZ, but perhaps of interest to ProZ members).
The Subject was "Welcoming speech";
The main part of the contents of the email said:

My name is Tina, I am the personnel manager of a large International company.

It did not name the company or its type of business; it appeared to come from an email address with the domain name:
cornerstonehealthcare.com
The hyperlink behind the words "Our Site" was
http://jiyuugaoka-yamadaclinic.com/content/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/
I looked at the header of the email and, judging from the "Received:" line containing the text "HELO" (with IP address 187.224.60.243), it was sent from Mexico. (I used http://en.utrace.de/ to discover this).

I get the same message with different subjet titled "Welcoming Speech" besides "Local Representatives", "Civilities" "Re: for CV", etc. The contents of the messages are exactly the same: "We are looking for employees working remotely...".
I know that these are all scams, but they keep sending me these junk mails and I wonder when they would stop.

I believe that all the people who posted here got this scam mail in English, but yesterday, I received a machine-translated version in my native language of the same scam mail which has been around for a while.
I guess they're becoming desperate to get response or whatever they want from you. I'm quite sure that there are same mails going around in other languages too.

Perhaps I should be pleased I receive these fairly infrequently. If it were every day, that would start to be a real nuisance and the email software that I use (Squirrelmail Webmail) can't be told to send it straight to Trash or my "Spam and phishing" folder because what they have in common is only some of the words within the email and I can't tell it to filter on the basis of something in the body of the emails. ▲ Collapse
