mental block here. The idea to convey is that new 3D digitization of the Giza Archives Project is in some way a payback for all the years of looting in the name of archaeology:
Par un juste retour des choses, Giza 3D pourrait aussi bénéficier au Suprême Conseil des Antiquités Egyptiennes, notamment dans cadre de son projet de rénovation du plateau comportant un nouveau grand musée d’égyptologie. Un retour aux sources somme toute légitime, au service du partage d’un joyau du patrimoine mondial.

Often, LA theater folk are wary of taking a locally premiered play to New York in fear of being sneered upon. In a fitting reversal, Jason Mitchell’s 2009 NY Fringe Festival hit, The Boy Upstairs, helmed by Jeremy O’Keefe, tiptoed into Celebration Theatre, Jan 24, as part of CT: Tuesdays Workshop series to find out if this Big Apple-centric comedy will connect with a West Hollywood audience.

In a fitting reversal, Americans will be the ones to "freeze in the dark" as we either run out of money to pay for oil or are shut out from the oil supplies by war or sanctions. America, its democracy asphyxiated in Iran and cremated by martial law, will soon resemble today's Iraq, with roving gangs fighting while sane people flee.

: fitting/deserved reversal [of fortune] – IMO keep "fitting" or "deserved" for "juste"

Thanks, cc in nyc. I prefer 'fitting', and I don't really see the need for 'fortune', but I guess it is a matter of taste.

: Though this idea might well work, I can't help thinking that the word order needs to be 'be only legitimate' — the placement of 'only' in EN syntax is crucial; it usually needs to go immediately next to what it refers to ('legitimate' rather than 'be')
