Unicity (or property of uniqueness) Explanation: 일의성 does not mean restriction or limitation. Rather, it refers to the property of uniqueness of the set of factors in the factorization of prime factors. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 16 mins (2019-01-12 16:27:19 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Correction: factorization of prime factors => factorization of prime numbers |

Uniqueness Explanation: Standard Korean Language Dictionary defines 일의성 as a characteristic in which only one can satisfy a certain condition.(어떤 조건을 채우는 것이 오직 하나밖에 없는 성질) and I would translate 일의성 as Uniqueness Also I think that is correct because in number theory, it is called Unique prime-factorization For example, Uniqueness of Integer Solution of Linear Equations can be translated as 일차 방정식 해의 일의성 Example sentence(s):

The uniqueness of prime factorization Explanation: It does not mean 'limitation' or 'Restriction'. According to the fundamental theorem of arithmetic, all natural numbers can be represented as a product of prime numbers in one way, and this is called 'the uniqueness of the factorial factorization (소인수분해의 일의성)'. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fundamental_theorem_of_arithmetic#Elementary_proof_of_uniqueness |

univocity Explanation: After reviewing several academic papers containing this word, "univocity" seems to me the most common equivalent. Also, the Naver Dictionary Korean has the definition "as having one meaning only," which is consistent with the English definition for this word. Example sentence(s):
