There is a potential problem with items 14, 15 and 16 of your survey, namely about the role of moderators. The ProZ.com forums had a different kind of moderating system in the first few years of its existence. The current moderation model has been in place for only a short time (a year? two years?). The role of moderators have changed considerably between the old moderation system and the new moderation system. Therefore whether moderators did this or that when a member first joined would differ whether the member had joined under the old or the new moderator regime.
At least you do ask how long respondents have been members of ProZ.com, so you should be able to split the results for those questions in two, based on that question.
Also, question 14a seems to imply that the moderators have control over the forum rules. This is not so... the forum rules are set by ProZ.com staff, and moderators can merely interpret them.
Question 16b assumes that respondents know who the moderators are and can identify them when they contribute to the forums. The truth is that when a moderator posts a message, he is not identified by the system as a moderator, and unless someone makes the effort of comparing the names of those who post messages with the list of moderators, he won't know that the person posting a message is a moderator, unless the moderator specifically says "I am a moderator" in his post.
And... off-topic:
It is always interesting to see the scales of educational level used in surveys. What is particularly interesting is that you're from a Britsh university but that the terminology you use in your scale is chiefly American:
* High school or below
* College
* Bachelor's degree
* Graduate degree or above
According to the Wikipedia (and if this is incorrect, do correct me) in America a graduate is someone with more than a bachelor's degree, whereas in the UK, someone with more than bachelor's degree is called a postgraduate, hence the American term "graduate degree" for someone with a master's degree or similar.
Also, the position of "college" as inferior to a bachelor's degree always brings a smile, for college studies are often vocational, and their graduates are often much better equipped for the real world (and real jobs) than mere academics.

There is written the word "MODERATOR" with green letters under the name of a moderator in his forum posts. Aren't they the proZ.com moderators?

Hello, I would be interested to know whether your questions are directed solely at those who use the forums, or whether they also include the Kudoz (terminology) section of the site. Without wishing to skew your findings, I found myself unsure as to how to answer some of your questions.
