About Me

A voracious reader from an early age, I quickly fell in love with Anglo-American culture. At 18 years old, I had already concluded my Certificate of Proficiency in English (CEFR level C2) from Cambridge University. I am currently an award-winning translator with 8 years of experience in the industry. I specialize in Marketing, IT and Business.
I hold a Master's in Literary Translation from FLUP, during which I learned how to craft elegant prose under the supervision of some of Portugal's most renowned literary translators. During my Bachelor's, also in Translation, I learned everything that makes a good technical translator: from excellent terminological research and CAT-tool usage, to practical questions related to running a translation business.

Each and every translation I deliver - be it a simple certificate or the the most intricate prose - undergoes two stages of careful review, a bilingual review followed by a monolingual review, read aloud, to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. This process ensures the translation you receive isn't just error-free, it's also mellifluous.

Besides translation and editing services, I also offer subtitling given that my background in literary translation has made me well-versed in crafting natural dialogue.
