I hope someone could differentiate translation job and copywriting job.

in short, translation means to translate an existing text written by someone else into a different language, and copywriting is writing a marketing or advertising text with yourself as the author.

Although copywriting is exactly what Astrid says, I find that more and more prospects tend to call 'copywriting' what is in fact 'transcreation' ("a term used chiefly by advertising and marketing professionals to refer to the process of adapting a message from one language to another, while maintaining its intent, style, tone and context")
