I have received an email from a client asking me to handle a rewriting project, but I do not have so far an idea about the price of this service. Would you be so kind as to give me some insights about its price?

I would ask the client to clear up what they mean by rewriting. I have been translating for over 30 years and I have never been asked to rewrite, though at the very beginning when reviewing I had to retranslate the entire document more than once (after those awful experiences I learned to never accept a project without having a good look at it first…).

That is to say: the client gave me a text and asked me to rewrite its paragraphs using the appropriate style addressing all the issues shown in the original text.

Usually, if it's in the same language the price it's really low. However, you should keep in mind a lot of details like the niche, how big the project is, how fast it should be done etc. If you could give us more informations about it maybe we can suggest you a price.
