I am very much looking forward to this conference and am inviting my team members! Thanks for all your hard work.

To whom it might concern:
There are plenty of sites giving you time of different zones - you can simply search the web for "gmt time" or "time zones". I personally use http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/ and am quite satisfied with it. | | | Timezone conversion | Aug 6, 2010 |
ProZ.com also offers users the ability to set their time zone in their profiles (under edit "contact" then "time zone"), there is a check box to display local time zone and GMT which will show users their local time zone and the GMT offset.
Additionally when the program is completed it will be shown with the session start times in both GMT and the users selected time zone location (if selected in profile).
Thanks!

A great event | Aug 25, 2010 |
I attended last year and was very very impressed. I did not have enough time to fully enjoy all the aspects of the conference, but I did attend a few talks. This year I look forward to meeting more freelancers in the lounge and attending as many of the talks as possible. For those of you busy with powwows and other activities on the day, even just popping in once will be worthwhile. It feels sooo 21st century attending a virtual conference...... Thanks Proz, I look forward to this year's event - and to making it a yearly institution.

Dear Drew and Leslie, We have joined ProZ for TD for 3 years now. This year we are planning to and our keynote is Minister of Information and Communication Technology. The event will be live internet, live radio and TV satellite. May I add... last year's participants should be more than 10,000 if counting ours from internet and global TV satellite.

Thanks for the kind words Hermien. This year we have 3 times as much content for our September 30th event! We have a few new features as well. To improve networking in the lounge we have added 15 separate chat rooms. We will be announcing "meet up times" by native language in the various chat rooms. Some will be dedicated to a single language and others will share (based on volume of registrants by language).
As there will be a lot of content this year, and we want everyone to be able to engage with that content, we will be hosting the environment online for 90 days after the conference. IMPORTANT NOTE - any user that attends the event (even if just for a moment) on September 30th will have full access to the content for 90 days. If you do not attend on the 30th you may not have free access to the content.
Maneerat - you are absolutely correct, we have not been counting your re-broadcast of the event on satellite - that certainly adds many more users. Glad to hear that you will once again be joining us and re-broadcasting the event. Looking forward to seeing everyone online again on the 30th.
Cheers from Argentina!

Due to increased registration (a 35% increase over last year), ProZ.com's 2010 virtual conference may need to limit attendance. The first 10,000 registrants for the event will be guaranteed entry to the virtual conference. After the first 10,000 registrants, there may be a charge to attend the event, or a delay in the ability to access the conference due to limits in peak capacity. Don't delay, and register now to secure your space among the first 10,000 registrants.

I have been using Time Zone Converter for years (since I'm not getting any better at math : ) http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html Or their simple table format: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
I am really looking forward to this event. Looks like a tremendous project. It truly is a 21st Century event (I wonder when we bring in the web cams... : ) Hope to see many of you on the 30th, and thank you, ProZ.com!
