At this time, you can search for first or last name (not full name); I searched for "Mifsud" and you came up.

Registration and username | Sep 27, 2010 |
I have a few of questions:
Do we register automatically with our Proz.com username or with our real name?
Today the registration page displays my username, while two days ago I saw my real name. Therefore the above is not clear to me.
Which name will be shown at the conference?
Will the attendance certificate display the real name or the username?
Thank you

There are 2 other events in my neighbourhood coinciding - in the morning, the former Director General of UNESCO will be addressing the industry not far from my home and I don't want to miss that. In the evening, I have a local panel conducted by a translator's association.
Hope it's not a problem logging in and out. | | |

Hi Mona
Glad to hear that you will be attending the virtual conference on Thursday. To answer your question:
Virtual conference attendees will earn points by participating in various aspects of the conference including, attending sessions, visiting exhibit booths, downloading materials and networking with other attendees. The conference interface will keep track of point accumulation and you will have access to all of that information beginning at 10AM GMT on September 30th.

About chatting and networking | Sep 29, 2010 |
Hi, roll on tomorrow!
I have a question though : for participating to the chat rooms (e.g. : if I want to meet Medical Translators), is this available only by phone (Skype) or can I access them in writing (i.e. via written messages as on a discussion list/forum) ?
Thank you
"See you" tomorrow
