Hello everyone!
I found an agency that works mainly with film subtitles and I would like to apply. However, in their application form they ask for my rates under various circumstances and I'm not sure what would be acceptable rates.

These are the various circumstances:
- translation and sync with dialogue list
- translation and sync without dialogue list
- transcription and sync

Any help is very appreciated!

I double checked and yes, I am sure. With sync I meant time coding, apologies for the confusion.

When they said dialogue list, do they actually mean the Combined Continuity and Dialogue/Spotting List document like this one, or were they just talking about a master template? When they said dialogue list, do they actually mean the Combined Continuity and Dialogue/Spotting List document like this one, or were they just talking about a master template? No, these are not the same thing. A CCSL document certainly would make the entire process easier and help you work faster, since you don't have to transcribe the audio manually and can refer to the provided in/out times. But you still need to create the subtitle events yourself on top of doing the localizations. Whereas with a master template, the dialogue bits are already pre-segmented for you. Meaning that you'll only need to focus on localizing the subtitles according to the aural and visual contexts, as well as the requested technical specifications.
