I'm Gloria Romano, a native Italian translator specialized in Korean and Chinese to Italian translation and localization, working freelance from 2020. 

With a BA in Chinese studies, an MA in Interpreting and Translation and 5 years of translation experience working for the Italian market, I offer technical and editorial translation, videogame localization and subtitling services.

During my studies I spent 2 years abroad, studying and working both in China and in South Korea, which eventually became my home in 2020.

3 things I love:

1. Ethology: it all began with 4 y.o. me glued to the tv choosing documentaries over Mickey Mouse and...it only got worse. Turns out human languages are not the only type of communication that fascinates me.

1. SF: in all shapes and forms. Even better when science people comment on it and tear it apart, I just love it all.

1. Sport: 5 years of swimming, 13 years of playing volleyball, now at my 2nd year of weight lifting in the gym. Mens sana in corpore sano, and that's all.
