The 3-day event is a wonderful opportunity to learn about so many different aspects of the language industry. But, horror of horrors!! At the bottom of the page, a line reads "The following exhibitors are in there booths, ready to answer your questions." Can it be true that at an event for LINGUISTS, this blatant misuse of "there" instead of "their" can appear on your page? Has noone else brought this to your attention? It´s terribly discrediting for your organization to hire people that don´t know how to use "there", "their" and "they´re" properly You need an editor/reviewer, to avoid this from happening again. Let me know if I can be of assistance ;)
Thanks so much for organizing this event, our Proz.com Angels! :-)
I really appreciate the fact that I don't need to travel a thousand miles and can do this from the comfort of my home office.
I found something interesting and useful in every one of the sessions. It was definitely worth participating. Next time you should charge us all a fee!!! :-)
I really liked that the speaker spoke in a clear and engaging way that was a pleasure to hear. Of course the contents were interesting as well, we had an overview of different possibilities for income diversification, their pros and cons. Very useful, thank you!
Pavel, imagine the case where you have several short duplicate segments (maybe just one word), and they are translated subtly differently due to the different context

if you mark a segment as finished (or translated in DVX3), and then it gets overwritten when you translate another segment, you wouldn't be happy

Pavel: if you're in Proofreading mode, you can always force propagation by using Ctrl+Alt+Down Arrow

that forces DVX3 to overwrite when Propagating, which in Proofreading mode allows overwriting of Translated segments

Pavel, to a certain extent, that's why we changed Finished in DVX2 to Translated in DVX3, and added the Proofread and Accepted status flags

in that sense, you're right, since "Translated" doesn't have the same sense of "completion" as "FInished" did.
