An agent approached me for a VO task. They said: "Volume: You will have to record 420 strings each". And they asked my rate for the whole task (420 strings). I have no idea what strings mean here and how I can give them a quote. I am looking forward to any answers from VO experts. Thanks!

I got the same request which I rejected. If I remember correctly, they explained in their mail what a string is.
I trashed the mails (they sent the request 3 times) because I found the request quite unprofessional.
