I'm not sure I understand the reasoning for using 'leksikon' as a translation for 'encyclopedia' in sentence no. 7...

Hi Tina I wasn't particularly happy with that sentence either. The direct translation of 'encyclopedia' doesn't have the funny pun of the American quote, where it sounds like 'encyclopedia' could be some kind of bike. However, it was the best I could come up with, and I just hoped that the sentence as a whole would convey that Yogi Berra had no clue what an encyclopedia is, along with the hint that his schooling was maybe not all that it could have been. Loved this gem. Jeg ville give min højre arm for at kunne bruge begge hænder samtidigt. I use this translation myself when I am in a bar. Always get a weird stare, then a few laughs.
