๐ May recap ๐May was one of my busiest months of the year so far. As a Certified Public Translator (English โ Portuguese) and Audiovisual Translator, I worked on a large number of subtitle translation, proofreading, QC, and certified translation projects. ๐ฌ Audiovisual Localization: โข 50+ episodes translated โข 30+ episodes proofread and QC reviewed โข Dramas, crime series, documentaries, variety shows, and animation โข Most of these projects were titles released (or scheduled to be released) on Netflix and other major streaming platforms๐ Certified Translation (English <> Portuguese): โข Contracts โข Passports โข Payslips โข Legal and personal documents. Localization is often invisible to viewers, but it plays a key role in making stories accessible across languages and cultures. A big thank you to all the project managers, clients, reviewers, and fellow linguists I had the pleasure of working with this month. ๐ Now on to June! ๐
