How does the NMT of Language Weaver (the free MT engine available to Trados users) compare to e.g. DeepL or Google Translate? (Language Weaver does not support my languages)

I'm interested in understanding what people think of language weaver Nov 27, 2024

I am a relatively new in the translation industry.
I have been advised to not only subcsribe a Trados licence, but add to it a subcription to DeepL or Chat GPT.
However, I read that Language Weaver is integrated to the Trados licence.
Does that mean that it does not deliver good results ?

It all depends, in this case, on your language pair. I have tested Language Weaver in my working pairs and the results were mixed: DE>EN more or less OK, EN>UK, RU - satisfactory, DU>UK, RU - disastrous. Anyone can share similar experiences?
